COSCO SHIPPING Lines (Canada) Inc. is a leading global ocean carrier with a rich history in the Canadian market. The company is launching a brand-new operations centre, COSCO SHIPPING NAOC – North America Operation Center, in Toronto, and we are seeking organized Inside Sales Support professionals to drive sales efficiency. This role connects clients and field reps to ensure seamless, top-tier operations.
This is a full-time position based on 37.5 hours per week reporting to the Manager of Sales Support Group Department of NAOC.
Key Responsibilities
- Responsible for daily quotation work per trade guidelines (quotation team responsibilities).
- Prepare internal and external reports.
- Assist with Service contract updates and maintenance, work with NASC to ensure accuracy of the service contract.
- Assist checking amendment summary and send to customer for signature.
- Assist sales and customer to complete Free time \ EDI application
- Assist sales and customer for cargo tracing.
- Sales backup when sales on vacation.
- Assisting with B/L errors – mostly incorrect rates applied to B/L’s
- Assist in resolving booking issues related to routes rates not filed or due to booking cargo prior confirming any offers or promotional rates provided by sales or Trade.
- Assist with routing issues and route changes due to Operation or Trade considerations/decisions.
- Assist with Hazmat requests to the Hazmat Team and resolving issues related to hazmat bookings (including claims).
- Assist with DND’s contacting the Audit and IDDS Teams
- Assist with requests and tariff rates filings through the USA FMC Team (Reefer/OOG/BB) for rates not available on IRIS3.
- SSG have an important participation communicating customers how to address requests through the COSCO E-Business site and referring those customers to our CPF/BDT Group.
- All assist customers providing Tariff Surcharges, Scope and many other company policies listed on the Sales Responsibilities shown above.

Skills/Requirement
- Bachelor’s degree with 1-3 years of experience, or 2+ years of industry related sales support experience
- Knowledge of import/export business, 3rd party platform is a plus.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Bilingual is a plus.
- Highly proactive and confident, with a positive attitude
- Strong organizational skill, ability to prioritize and multitask
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, SharePoint)
