Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Kitchen Assistant to support us in delivering high-quality food service. The ideal candidate will assist with food preparation, cooking, and maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to established recipes and standards
- Support cooking activities, including basic food handling and ingredient management
- Help maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas, including washing dishes, utensils, and equipment
- Ensure adherence to food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
- Serve meals to customers or staff in a professional manner
- Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed
- Follow all health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment
Experience
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or kitchen environments is preferred but not required
- Familiarity with serving, food preparation, and cooking techniques is advantageous
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling practices is a plus
- Experience working in the food industry or related settings will be beneficial for success in this role
