DTTR is looking to add to the team, we are located just off the Yellowhead and 142 Street, looking for full-time Diesel Technicians, hours are Monday to Friday 8:30 to 5:00.
DTTR works on anything diesel-powered and anything from electrical to complete engine rebuilds.
Duties - use testing equipment, take the vehicle for a test drive, and/or refer to manufacturers' specifications and manuals; - dismantle faulty assemblies, repair or replace worn or damaged parts; and - reassemble, adjust and test the repaired mechanism.
Skill and Abilities
- Must have a 2nd, 3rd and journeyman ticket or equivalent
- a working knowledge of electricity, electronics, and computers
- the ability to keep up to date with changing technology
- mechanical aptitude and interest
- the ability to use proper lifting techniques for items up to 25 kilograms
- good hearing, eyesight and manual dexterity
- a valid driver's license with clean abstract
