JOB DESCRIPTION
Breakfast Club is seeking a Marketing, Events and Sponsorships Coordinator. Reporting to the Senior Marketing, Events and Sponsorships Advisor, the successful candidate will actively contribute to the organization and logistics of the Club’s signature events as well as to the management of external sporting events across Canada.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Coordinate, monitor and execute the logistical aspects of signature events, including schedules, vendors, on-site operations, setup, teardowns, and deliveries.
- Help draft and ensure the proper implementation of marketing materials (e.g., newsletters, fundraising emails, creative briefs, and website content) related to events.

Administer the various registration platforms for signature events, track registrations and act as a point of contact for participants’ enquires.
- Manage external sporting events for the Club, including coordinating fundraising platforms as well as communication and thank-you messages before, during and after events.
- Stay informed about competitors’ activities (events and sponsorships) and monitor best practices.
- Be on-site during events and perform all tasks related to the smooth sailing of the event and the participants’ experience.
- Manage various vendors and handle delivery logistics both in preparation for and at the event sites.
- Collaborate with the team to manage event committee members and ensure the preparation and coordination of various committee meetings as well as the resulting follow-ups (e.g., invitations, reports, minutes).

Assist in the production of post-event reports.
- Coordinate administrative aspects (e.g., invoicing, payment tracking, sales reports).
- Support the advisor in soliciting in-kind donations of goods and services from businesses.
- Follow up with donors and collect contributions.
SPECIFIC QUALIFICATIONS
- A university degree in marketing or another relevant field;
- 1 to 2 years of experience in business development, sales, sponsorships, or fundraising;
- Bilingualism is essential (French and English), both spoken and written (English is required for meetings held several times a month with colleagues and partners across Canada).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office;
- Interest in event management;
- Availability outside regular office hours during event periods and for meetings with external collaborators.
- Ability to lift loads up to 38 pounds.

WORK CONDITIONS
- Permanent, full-time position.
