Project Based/ Contract Position
Starting July 6, 2026
Will be working in a retail store environment with store fixtures along with merchandising and planogramming for a Big Box Store location.
Purpose & Scope: Set up of store shelving and fixtures. General labour and all other duties assigned. Also light duty construction experience is preferred.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Effectively follow directions of the site supervisor
- Work independently in an unsupervised environment
- Mindful of customers, cleanliness and work area footprint
- Complete all tasks assigned promptly.
- Physical tasks as assigned
Requirements:
- Are able to get to and from the job sites (Must have valid driver's licence and own a vehicle)
- Ability to lift 50lbs on your own
- Exposure and access to basic power and hand tools
- Basic audio video installation skills and knowledge is an asset but not required
- Can-do attitude and a confident team player
- Prior retail and merchandising experience an asset
- Have steel toe shoes or boots
Supervision: Reports to the site supervisor
Working Conditions: Will be working in a construction and Merchandising site typesetting. Inside a big chain store.
Education: High school diploma an asset but not required
Experience:

Job Type: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 2 weeks
Pay: $18.00-$22.00 per hour
