The Opportunity
This is a rare chance to build something meaningful from the ground up. We're looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist who will own APT's entire digital marketing function — from SEO and analytics to social media, content, and campaigns. You'll work directly with leadership and have real ownership over our brand voice, online presence, and long-term marketing strategy.
This role is for someone who is creative and technically sharp — someone who sees the 50th anniversary on the horizon and wants to help build toward it.
What You'll Do
Search, Analytics & Local Presence
- Own APT's SEO strategy: technical audits, keyword research, on-page optimization, local SEO
- Manage and maintain Google Tag Manager (GTM) and Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — events, dashboards, conversion tracking
- Manage Google Business Profile listings for all 6 Canadian locations — posts, photos, reviews, Q&A
- Monitor and report on organic traffic, keyword rankings, and search visibility
Social Media & Content
- Own APT's presence on Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and X (Twitter)
- Publish a minimum of 3 posts per week on Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn — tailored for B2B and B2C audiences
- Develop and grow our YouTube channel — product content, brand story, warehouse features, anniversary milestones
- Create written and visual content: graphics, short videos, stories, and reels
- Engage with followers and build community across all platforms
Campaigns & Strategy
- Plan and execute B2C campaigns targeting end consumers — seasonal promotions, product highlights
- Plan and execute B2B campaigns targeting collision shops, dealers, and trade buyers — brand awareness and trade content
- Maintain a content calendar aligned with product lines, seasons, and company milestones
- Begin building groundwork for APT's 50th Anniversary campaign (2030)
Email Marketing & Design
- Plan, design, and send APT's monthly customer newsletter
- Design promotional flyers, digital ads, and marketing collateral
- Track and report email performance: open rates, click-through rates, list growth
Reporting
- Build and maintain a monthly marketing report covering SEO, social, email, and web analytics
- Present insights and recommendations to marketing management
What We're Looking For
Required
- 3–5 years of hands-on digital marketing experience
- Demonstrated SEO knowledge: technical SEO, keyword research, local SEO, on-page optimization
- Proficiency with Google Analytics 4 (GA4) and Google Tag Manager (GTM)
- Google Business Profile management — multi-location experience preferred
- Proven social media management across Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube
- Experience developing both B2B and B2C content strategies
- Email marketing experience — Mailchimp, Klaviyo, Campaign Monitor, or similar
- Graphic design skills for marketing materials — Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or equivalent
- Strong written English with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences and channels
- Analytical mindset — uses data to make decisions, not just to report after the fact
Preferred
- Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager certification
- Experience with YouTube channel development and X (Twitter) content strategy
- Video content creation or editing experience (Reels, Shorts, brand videos)
- Background in automotive, distribution, wholesale, or B2B industrial sectors
- French language skills — bilingual content is an asset for our national customer base
- Experience in a small-to-medium business environment with broad marketing responsibilities
What We Offer
- Salary: $60,000 – $65,000 CAD per year, commensurate with experience
- Full-time, 40 hours per week
- In-office in Burnaby, BC during 3-month probation period
