Barn Owl is a popular eatery in Osoyoos with high volume in the peak summer. We are looking someone who can work on contractor basis to complete specific kitchen prep tasks during closure hours. For example, slicing ingredients, mixing sauces, parcooking food items etc.
This role requires someone who can work independently during early mornings or late evenings for minimum 5 days per week of approx 5-7 hours per day.
You will be provided a weekly prep list to complete and can set the pace provided that the requested items are finished by the required deadline. Previous kitchen experience and food safe is a requirement.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare ingredients efficiently and accurately to a high standard
- Follow food safety protocols.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, utensils, dishes, and silverware.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Operate kitchen equipment safely and efficiently.
This is a contract role for $3,000 for the month of August only, paid weekly in $750 instalments. You will be responsible for reporting and claiming income tax.
Pay: $3,000.00 per month
