Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Casual Cleaner to join our team on a contractual basis. This role involves providing cleaning services across various commercial facilities, ensuring a clean, safe, and well-maintained environment. Duties
- Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal in commercial spaces
- Conduct specialized cleaning of restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to meet health and safety standards
- Maintain cleanliness of floors, windows, surfaces, and fixtures using appropriate cleaning tools and supplies
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed to support the overall upkeep of the premises
- Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures to ensure efficient and safe operations
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are used responsibly and replenished as necessary
Requirements
- Prior experience in cleaning or facilities maintenance is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and safety standards is advantageous
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining high-quality standards
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Physical ability to perform cleaning duties including standing for extended periods, bending, lifting, and reaching
- Reliable transportation or ability to commute to various client locations as required
- Must be punctual, dependable, and committed to maintaining a clean environment at all times
