Valley Venture Construction Limited is a leading commercial construction company based out of Abbotsford, BC. We work extensively in the grocery store industry. Duties:
- Install and assemble various components and systems according to blueprints, schematics and specifications
- Ability to work with various hand tools and power tools to complete installations
- Measure, cut, and shape materials to fit installation requirements
- Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and functionality of installed components
- Follow safety protocols and guidelines throughout the installation process
- Collaborate with team members and contractors to complete projects
- Strong carpentry skills for building and installing structures
- Must have vast knowledge of carpentry and general construction sites
Asset:
- Cooler box knowledge
- Ability to fully read blueprints
- Lift Ticket, Fall Restraint, First Aid, forklift and WHIMIS
In Addition:
- Night Shift Premium is additional $10.00 hr. (Majority of work is nights)
- You may be required to work out of town additional LOA provided
- Most of our work is indoors, dry in the winter and cool in the summer
- After 3 months probation (benefits and wage increase)
- Sponsorship for carpenters apprentice available
*Must have valid drivers license and reliable vehicle*
*Must be currently living in the lower mainland*
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
