Overview
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Automotive Mechanic to join MC Garage opening soon in Trenton.
Duties
- Review work orders and collaborating with supervisors to diagnose repair.
- Advise customers on work completed, the condition of their vehicle and any future expected repairs.
- Inspect, road test and identify malfunctions in all vehicle systems.
- Order parts based on repairs needed.
- Conduct routine maintenance such as oil changes, brake repairs, tire rotations, and system inspections
- Repair or replace faulty components using appropriate techniques.
- Ensure all repairs meet safety standards and manufacturer specifications.
- Maintain detailed records of work performed and parts used for each service order.
Requirements
- Must have graduated from an apprentice based program with a trade or vocational diploma/certificate. For example, a Red Seal Certificate.
- More than three years experience as an automotive technician.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose issues accurately using technical manuals or schematics.
- Applicant must be deadline and detail oriented, with solid communications skills.
- Must hold a valid driver license.
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
