We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Massage Therapist to join our wellness team. As a Massage Therapist, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the well-being of our clients through therapeutic touch and personalized care.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough client assessments to determine individual needs and preferences.
- Provide high-quality massage therapy services, including Swedish, deep tissue, and other modalities as required.
- Maintain a clean and organized treatment area, ensuring all equipment is sanitized and ready for use.
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding their treatment plans and any adjustments needed during sessions.
- Keep detailed records of client treatments, preferences, and any relevant medical history using appropriate medical terminology.
- Collaborate with other wellness professionals to create comprehensive care plans for clients.
- Uphold the highest standards of professionalism and ethics in all interactions with clients and colleagues.
Qualifications
- Valid state licensure or certification in massage therapy.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology related to anatomy and physiology.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to clearly convey information to clients and team members.
- Previous experience in a spa or clinical setting is preferred but not required.
