Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Dispatcher and Customer Service Representative to join our team. Responsibilities
- Coordinate dispatching of freight and transportation requests using transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management and SyteLine.
- Communicate effectively with drivers, carriers, and customers via multi-line phone systems, ensuring clear and professional phone etiquette.
- Monitor GPS and GIS data to track vehicle locations, optimize routes, and improve transportation planning.
- Input and maintain accurate data entries related to shipping & receiving, fleet management, and logistics operations.
- Assist with shipping schedules, freight coordination, and 3PL (third-party logistics) partners to ensure timely deliveries.
- Handle inquiries from customers regarding shipments, delivery status, or scheduling changes with excellent communication skills.
- Support warehouse functions including shipping & receiving, inventory updates in AS400 systems, and coordination with supply chain teams for seamless operations.
Requirements
- Proven experience with transportation management systems such as Oracle Transportation Management or SyteLine.
- Strong analysis skills to interpret GPS data, GIS mapping tools, and logistics metrics for effective dispatching.
- Familiarity with freight operations, fleet management, shipping & receiving processes, and 3PL coordination.
- Excellent communication skills coupled with professional phone etiquette for engaging with customers and carriers.
- Proficiency in data entry with high accuracy using systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
- Ability to multitask efficiently on multi-line phone systems while managing dispatching responsibilities.

Pay: $17.20-$25.21 per hour
