Overview
We are seeking highly skilled and motivated professionals for the positions of 442A Industrial Electrician and 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright). These roles are essential to maintaining and optimizing our manufacturing operations, ensuring safety, efficiency, and reliability of industrial systems. Candidates will be responsible for performing complex electrical and mechanical maintenance tasks, troubleshooting equipment issues, and supporting continuous improvement initiatives. Successful applicants will possess strong technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to safety standards.
Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain electrical systems including low voltage and programmable logic controllers (PLCs) within manufacturing environments.
- Read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals to troubleshoot electrical and mechanical issues effectively.
- Perform preventive maintenance on machinery such as HVAC systems, boilers, welding equipment, and other industrial tools.
- Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and manage inventory.
- Conduct mechanical repairs involving gears, pulleys, bearings, shafts, and other machinery components typical of millwright work.
- Operate welding equipment safely for repairs or fabrication tasks as needed.
- Diagnose electrical problems using analysis skills and implement corrective actions promptly.
- Support installation projects involving electrical wiring or mechanical assembly in accordance with schematics and safety protocols.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations related to electrical systems, low voltage wiring, HVAC units, boilers, and other industrial equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to improve maintenance procedures and optimize equipment uptime.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a 442A Industrial Electrician or 433A Industrial Mechanic (Millwright).
- Proven experience in industrial electrician work or mechanical maintenance within manufacturing settings.
- Strong knowledge of programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics, electrical experience, and low voltage systems.
- Mechanical knowledge related to industrial machinery such as HVAC systems, boilers, welding tools, and general plant equipment.
- Experience with CMMS software for maintenance management is preferred.
- Ability to read technical schematics and perform analysis to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
- Excellent problem-solving skills combined with a proactive approach to safety and quality standards.
- Good communication skills in English for effective teamwork and documentation purposes.
- Additional skills such as HVAC certification, welding proficiency, or boiler operation experience are considered advantageous but are not mandatory. Candidates must demonstrate a strong commitment to safety practices in an industrial environment while maintaining high standards of workmanship. Pay: $44.50-$45.00 per hour
