WELDER
Responsibilities:
· Interpret blueprints and job-specific information including technical instruction and codes & standards
· Weld customized fabrication using SMAW and/or TIG weld techniques a MUST
· Fabricate sub-assemblies and assemblies based on work procedures and shop drawings
· Use overhead cranes to assist in the fabrication process
· Ensure the working environment is clean and safe
· Aid in the designs and constructs of templates, jigs and fixtures.
· Verify conformance of workpiece to specifications, using square, rulers, and/ or measuring tape
· Solve mathematical & angle problems
· Report any errors in the production line to the Lead hand or Supervisor
· Perform QC spot checks
· Operate heavy & light machinery such as: drills, welding machines, various saws, press brakes, shears, cutting torches, grinders, plasma torch
· Required to wear appropriate PPE while on company sites and follow Nemx Skilled Trades Covid Safety Policy.
· Required to follow all safety requirements as per safety policies
· Physically capable of lifting up to 50 pounds and recognizing the need for help
Qualifications:
