Job Description
Senior Field technician position responsible for:
Project management, execution, site supervision, coordination and reporting of field operations:
- production fluid (oil, gas and water) sampling,
- SCVF and gas migration testing,
- shallow aquifer testing,
- exsolved gas collection from drilling fluid while drilling oil and gas wells,
- soil gas surveys for mineral and oil and gas exploration.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Diploma or degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Natural Sciences or related discipline,
- 2 years supporting oilfield, mining, industrial operations,
- experience and knowledge of Alberta and Saskatchewan oil and gas regulations,
- Must be computer literate and proficient with MS Word and Excel,
- Strong communication and organizational skills,
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities,
- Up to date safety tickets (H2S, First Aid, TDG, WHMIS),
- Must have a valid class 5 drivers license,
- must be legally eligible to work in Canada.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 – 60.0 per week
