Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and dynamic Cashier/Sales Associate to join our retail team. Responsibilities
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
- Operate POS systems accurately for cash handling and transactions
- Conduct product demos and provide technical sales support when needed
- Upsell products and promote ongoing promotions to maximize sales opportunities
- Maintain merchandising standards and ensure the sales floor is organized
- Handle customer inquiries via phone or in person with professionalism and courtesy
- Manage cash register operations, including balancing drawers at shift end
- Assist with inventory management and stock replenishment
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues, and ensuring satisfaction
- Support team members in achieving store goals through effective communication and collaboration
Experience
- Previous experience in retail sales, cashiering, or customer service preferred
- Knowledge of POS systems, cash handling procedures, and basic math skills necessary for accurate transactions
- Experience with product demos or technical sales is a plus
- Bilingual abilities (English and another language) are highly desirable to serve a diverse customer base
- Strong communication skills, time management, and organizational skills are essential for success in this role
- Familiarity with merchandising, upselling techniques, and phone etiquette will enhance performance
- Prior experience in technology or retail environments that involve product demonstrations is advantageous
Pay: From $17.85 per hour
