Key Responsibilities
As a load planner/dispatcher, you will play a critical role in ensuring efficient and cost-effective transportation operations:
- Planning and dispatching drivers and equipment
- Coordinating inbound and outbound grain loads
- Entering orders and maintaining transportation schedules
- Communicating with drivers, customers, mills, and third-party carriers
- Preparing customs documentation and Generating KPI reports and building strong working relationships across the operation
- Supporting cost-efficient and service-focused transportation operation and completing other duties as assigned
Qualifications & Experience
The successful candidate will possess:
- 2+ years of dispatching, transportation, or logistics experience
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Knowledge of logistics and transportation planning
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Experience with dispatch software is an asset
- Professional communication skills and team-oriented approach
- Logistics or Supply Chain diploma considered an asset
