Job Description: The Landscape Foreman is responsible for all installations on landscape construction projects. This role is a hybrid, primarily for softscape and extended maintenance of installations we have completed.
The candidate should be prepared to work hands on in the field. Our projects consist primarily of large scale commercial and industrial site works.
Responsibilities
· Overseeing landscape construction projects
· Supervises and manages landscape crew
· Ensures that each crew member is trained appropriately for each designated job assignment
· Participates in and conducts all job site safety briefings with crew members
· Train staff on proper procedures for installations
· Maintain all paperwork required on site
· Operate equipment, install landscape features
· Work in snow removal program as needed in winter season
Requirements:
· 5+ years’ experience in industry
· Applicable Assets: Horticultural Certification, Red Seal Landscaper, Certified Landscape Professional, ICPI Paving Installer, Arborist License
· Proficient heavy equipment operating skills including front end loaders, mini-excavators, skidsteers, quick cut saws, compactors etc.
· Knowledge of perennials, shrubs, evergreens, and trees - both planting and maintenance
· Proficiency with sod and seed installations
· Proficiency with fertilizer and herbicide application and management of this program
· Proficiency with turf management techniques, aeration, overseeing, top dressing, mowing etc
· Highly motivated, self-driven individual who is detail orientated
· Excellent attention to detail while working in a fun & fast paced environment
· Verbal & written communication skills
· Good time management skills; be available for long hours all year round

Pay: $30.00-$34.00 per hour
