We’re looking for confident, outgoing, and professional Hostesses to join the opening team at The Vortex, a new nightlife destination in downtown Calgary. If you thrive in high-energy environments, love hospitality, and know how to create an unforgettable guest experience, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Greet and welcome guests as they arrive
- Manage reservations, guest lists, and table seating
- Create a positive first impression and maintain a high-energy atmosphere
- Assist with VIP sections and bottle service coordination
- Communicate with security, servers, bartenders, and management throughout the night
- Handle guest concerns professionally and efficiently
- Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand
- Ensure guests have an exceptional experience from arrival to departure
Requirements
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to stay professional in a fast-paced nightlife environment
- Weekend and late-night availability required
- Comfortable working in loud, high-volume settings
- Previous hosting, serving, nightlife, or hospitality experience is an asset but not required
- Must be confident, reliable, and team-oriented
- Must be legally eligible to work in Canada
