Job Title: Hotel Operations ManagerPosition
Overview
We are seeking a dynamic, detail-oriented Hotel Operations Manager/Acting General Manager to oversee daily property operations and elevate our guest experience. In this role, you will lead cross-functional teams—including Front Desk, Housekeeping, Maintenance, and Food & Beverage—to ensure seamless service delivery, maintain high brand standards, and optimize daily profitability. You will report directly to the General Manager / Area Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Daily Operations: Supervise and synchronize the daily workflows of all rooms and guest service departments.
- Team Leadership: Recruit, train, schedule, and mentor departmental supervisors and line staff.
- Guest Excellence: Maintain a strong floor presence to greet guests, resolve complex complaints, and drive high satisfaction scores.
- Financial Management: Monitor operational expenses, manage labor budgets, and help achieve monthly revenue goals.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular property walkthroughs to ensure strict compliance with health, safety, and brand cleanliness standards.
- Vendor & Inventory Management: Oversee relationships with external suppliers and manage inventory controls for linen, guest amenities, and operational supplies.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: Minimum of [3–5] years of progressive management experience in a hospitality or hotel environment.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, or a related field (equivalent experience considered).
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with Property Management Systems (PMS) such as Opera / Choice/ Marriott and MS Office.
- Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as operational needs dictate.
