Elliott-Matsuura Canada Inc. has a Toronto Area Sales Position opening for an exciting and fulfilling sales position in Ontario.
In this position you will be responsible for sales activities in the designated territory including: the sales process, discovering leads, needs analysis for potential customers, designing and recommending a manufacturing solution, promoting that solution and maintaining a good relationship with customers.
Successful candidates will be self-motivated, energetic, technical, a team player and must possess excellent communications and problem-solving skills. A Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Manufacturing Engineering is an asset but not required. Candidates with the following knowledge and skills will be given consideration:
- Machine Equipment knowledge; Milling, Turning, EDM, Fabrication, Automation, and Metrology
- Must have working knowledge of reading mechanical engineered prints
- Familiar with Windows based computers and software
- Familiar with customer databases for the purpose of reporting and follow-ups
- Work experience in the manufacturing or manufacturing sales environment for 3-5 yrs
- Good interpersonal and customer relation skills
Extensive product training will be provided. The successful candidate must be prepared to travel in Canada and to supplier facilities.
