We are looking for an experienced Car Detailer who takes pride in their work, notices the details, works efficiently and can be relied upon to help maintain the exceptional appearance and condition of our premium fleet.
The condition and presentation of our vehicles are an important part of the service we provide to families. Our fleet needs to be clean, polished, properly stocked and ready when it is needed.
This role is well suited to someone who enjoys working independently, takes ownership of their responsibilities and cares about the quality of the finished result.
Schedule & Additional Opportunities
This is a part-time position working Monday to Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.
For employees interested in additional work, our Piecework Program provides opportunities to voluntarily take on additional shifts and earn above time-and-a-half for those hours.
In 2025, 93% of extra hours worked through the program were voluntarily selected by employees.
Your Role as a Car Detailer
As our Car Detailer, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, appearance and service-readiness of our premium fleet. Your responsibilities will include:
- Performing detailed vehicle inspections and reporting interior or exterior damage.
- Thoroughly washing and cleaning vehicle exteriors.
- Vacuuming and cleaning vehicle interiors and windows.
- Ensuring tires and rims are clean and polished.
- Stocking vehicles with bottled water, Kleenex, hand sanitizer, snow brushes, umbrellas and other required supplies.
- Checking and replenishing windshield washer fluid.
- Moving and parking vehicles as required.
- Pressure washing and squeegeeing the wash bay floor.
- Managing inventory and reordering detailing supplies, including car soap, degreaser, tire shine, window cleaner, paper towels, chamois, oil and washer fluid.
- Completing quarterly waxing, polishing and buffing of vehicle exteriors.
- Completing quarterly carpet steaming and deodorizing.
- Completing quarterly deep detailing of vehicle interiors, including door panels, dashboards and consoles.
- Completing quarterly detailing of engine bays.
- Consistently maintaining vehicles to established company detailing and presentation standards.
- Travelling to other McInnis & Holloway locations when required.

What You Bring
- A current Class 5 non-GDL driver's license.
- A driver's abstract with six or fewer demerits.
- Continuous insurance coverage for a minimum of the past three consecutive years, with no gaps in coverage.
- Ability to successfully complete a background/security clearance.
- Knowledge of cleaning, protective and restorative products used to maintain and enhance vehicle appearance.
- Ability to safely operate buffers, steamers, hoses, vacuums, pressure washers and other detailing equipment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
- Dependability, responsibility and a strong work ethic.
- Good verbal communication skills.
- A professional 5-Star customer service mindset.
- Ability to meet the physical demands of the position, including walking, bending, crouching and standing for extended periods.
- Willingness to comply with company policies, procedures and established quality standards.
