About the Role
Fast Cell Repair is expanding across Canada and looking for skilled, reliable, and customer-focused Cell Phone Repair Technicians. You will be responsible for repairing devices, providing excellent customer service, and supporting store sales operations.
Key Responsibilities
Device Repair
Diagnose and repair smartphones and tablets (Apple, Samsung, Google, LG, etc.)
Perform screen replacements, battery swaps, charging port repairs, back glass repairs, camera repairs
Ensure all repairs meet company quality standards
Maintain a clean and organized repair station
Follow all repair SOPs for quality and safety
Customer Service
Greet and assist customers professionally
Explain repair issues, timelines, and pricing
Ensure a positive customer experience and encourage Google reviews
Sales & Store Operations
Upsell accessories, screen protectors, and warranty packages
Create accurate repair tickets in the POS system
Handle payments and provide receipts
Maintain product displays and keep the store clean and organized
Inventory & Reporting
Track parts and accessory inventory
Report low stock or missing items
Follow store-level cash handling and security procedures
Requirements
Minimum 1–2 years of hands-on cell phone repair experience required
Strong technical knowledge of smartphone hardware
Ability to diagnose problems quickly and accurately
Good communication and customer service skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment
Honest, reliable, and punctual
Basic computer/POS experience
Preferred Qualifications
Micro-soldering experience (optional)
Experience repairing tablets, laptops, or game consoles
Previous experience in a phone repair or electronics retail store
