Job Overview:
We are looking for professional Aluminum & Glass Glazier having -
- Experience in glazing industry with commercial and residential fabrication and installation.
- Experience in renovations windows and doors, commercial storefront glazing and servicing, curtain wall, custom glass shower installations, fabrication of window screens, cutting and installing glass systems, automotive glass experience an asset
- Great verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work well with others with strong interpersonal and communication skills, are reliable and self-motivated.
Responsibilities:
- Read and Understand blueprints and specifications.
- Measure & layout openings for size and shape.
- Measure and cut glass, aluminum.
- Assemble, and install aluminum frames, and other associated hardwares.
- Knowledge on how to handle/carry glass properly.
- Fabricate and build frames/curtain walls.
- Responsible for safety on job sites.
- Responsible for tools and materials on site.
- Create positive work environment.
- Operate site equipment such as CNC Computerized Shaw, Cranes, Zoom Booms, and other Lifts.
- Load and unload materials and supplies.
- Read and understand blueprints and architectural docs.
- Installation of curtainwall systems, doors, windows, framing, skylights, storefront, canopy, railing, shower door, mirrors, and more glazing services etc.
- Inspect systems for quality control.
- Adhere to all site safety requirements.
- Willing to perform other relevant duties as deemed necessary.
Education & Qualifications:
- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd year Glazing Apprentices
- Journeyman Red Seal Glazier Certification (Prefered)
- Professional experience needed.
- Valid Class five (5) driver’s license.
- WHMIS, Aerial Lift and Fall Protection certificates required.
- Must have own tools, safety equipment/gear.
- Ability to use all hand tools.
- Ability to work at heights.
- Ability to work alone or with a team.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months
Pay: $20.00-$40.00 per hour or on lump sum sub contract per project basis or as mutually agreed between the candidate and the company.
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Reliably commute to the office and customer site using own transportation.
