Supplies Procurement and Inventory Control
Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Supplies Procurement and Inventory Control Officer to support the efficient sourcing, purchasing, storage, and management of supplies and raw products essential to our operations. This role is responsible for developing procurement strategies, maintaining supplier relationships, managing inventory levels, and ensuring the timely availability of materials while controlling costs and maintaining quality standards. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational, analytical, and negotiation skills and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties
- Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and efficient sourcing of supplies and raw products
- Collaborate with all departments to identify supply requirements, specifications, and inventory needs while maintaining consistent communication to ensure uninterrupted supply flow
- Research, evaluate, compare, and analyze products, suppliers, and purchasing opportunities to achieve the best value for the Company
- Source, qualify, and negotiate with reliable suppliers regarding pricing, delivery schedules, service levels, and contract terms
- Maintain and manage supplier relationships to ensure consistent product availability, quality standards, and cost control
- Coordinate the delivery, receipt, storage, and organization of supplies and raw products
- Inspect and evaluate purchased products to ensure quality standards are met and conduct product testing or quality control procedures as required
- Manage inventory levels and maintain accurate purchasing, pricing, and inventory records
- Prepare inventory and procurement reports to support operational planning and ensure adequate stock levels are maintained
- Verify supplier invoices and purchasing documentation for Accounts Payable processing
- Monitor supplier performance and address delivery, quality, or service concerns in a timely and professional manner
- Organize and manage the supplies warehouse to maintain efficiency, accuracy, and accessibility of inventory
- Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely and effectively as required
- Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills
- Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal

- Strong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Knowledge of procurement best practices, sourcing strategies, inventory management, and supplier performance evaluation
- Ability to prioritize tasks, follow direction, and adapt to changing operational requirements
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, Google Workspace, and other business software applications
- Experience managing inventory systems, purchasing records, and warehouse organization
- Strong understanding of cost control, purchasing processes, and supply chain operations
- Professional attitude with a commitment to teamwork and continuous learning
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Forklift certification required

Pay: $22.19-$27.75 per hour
