Job Summary

Duties
- Assist the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking, and plating.
- Supervise kitchen staff, providing guidance and support to ensure efficient workflow and high-quality food service.
- Oversee food handling procedures to maintain compliance with food safety standards.
- Coordinate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders and exceptional customer service.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist with ordering supplies as needed.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area in accordance with health regulations.
- Support training and development of kitchen staff, fostering a positive team environment.
- Participate in menu planning, recipe development, and presentation standards to elevate dining experiences.
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or food service setting, with demonstrated leadership skills.
- Extensive background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling within the food industry or hospitality sector.
- Strong knowledge of restaurant management principles and kitchen operations.
- Excellent team management abilities with a focus on fostering collaboration and efficiency.
