Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Barista to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional customer service while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee, tea, and specialty beverages with attention to quality and presentation
- Operate POS systems, including Micros POS, accurately handling cash and card transactions
- Assist customers with menu selections and provide excellent customer service to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area, including food preparation stations and dining spaces
- Follow food safety guidelines and proper food handling procedures at all times
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure timely service without compromising quality
- Restock supplies as needed and assist with inventory management
- Handle cash register operations with accuracy, including cash handling and basic math calculations
Qualifications
- Previous barista experience or background in the food industry is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Ability to operate POS systems, including Micros POS, efficiently and accurately
- Good time management skills to handle high-volume periods smoothly
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team in a fast-paced environment
