Blayzecor is seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Business Traffic controller (Administrative Assistant) to support the day-to-day operations of the shop.

This role is a key part of making that happen. You’ll work closely with shop leadership and team members to support scheduling, client communication, quotes, documentation, office systems, and internal coordination. In a deadline-driven environment where tool strings can’t wait, strong administration protects the team’s time, supports client service, and helps the whole shop do better work.
We’re looking for someone who takes pride in being the calm, capable person behind the scenes. The person who keeps things moving, catches the small details before they become problems, and helps create an office experience that feels professional, responsive, and well-run.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
As the Business Traffic Controller (Administrative Assistant), your day-to-day responsibilities will include:
Scheduling & Communication
- Schedule incoming jobs and deliveries
- Coordinate trucking, pickups, and customer deadlines
- Maintain shop calendar and production priorities
- Track urgent and ongoing jobs
Purchasing & Inventory
- Order shop consumables and supplies
- Track Inventory levels
- Coordinate vendor orders and deliveries
- Monitor purchasing needs for ongoing jobs
Administration & Office Support
- Create and send quotes, Work orders, packing slips and invoices
- Organize digital files, paperwork, and customer records
- Assist with payroll, receipts, and bookkeeping support
- Maintain organized job folders and documentation
Customer Communication
- Answer calls and emails
- Follow up on quotes and customer requests
- Provide job status updates
- Coordinate customer information and documentation
WHAT WE EXPECT TO SEE ON YOUR RESUME
- Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Strong communication skills and being able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Comfortable working in an industrial/trade environment.
- Self-motivated and dependable.
- Previous experience in the oil & gas industry or other trades environments.
- Proficient skills with Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
- Experience supporting quotes, proposals, reports, or client-facing documents would be helpful in this role.
