Overview
We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Kitchen Manager/Chef to lead our culinary team in delivering exceptional dining experiences. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, extensive restaurant and kitchen experience, and a passion for food quality and safety. This role offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily kitchen operations, manage staff, and ensure the highest standards of food preparation and service are maintained in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
Duties
- Supervise and coordinate kitchen staff, including cooks and food service personnel, ensuring efficient workflow and high-quality food production
- Oversee food preparation, cooking, and presentation to meet established standards of taste, appearance, and safety
- Manage inventory, order supplies, and maintain proper storage of ingredients in accordance with food safety regulations
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and sanitation standards related to food handling and restaurant operations
- Develop menus in collaboration with management, incorporating innovative dishes while maintaining consistency
- Train new staff on food safety procedures, cooking techniques, and customer service expectations
- Monitor kitchen operations during service hours to ensure timely delivery of orders and excellent customer experiences
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment conducive to efficient work flow
Qualifications
- Proven supervising experience within a restaurant or hospitality setting
- Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and food handling techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Extensive restaurant management experience with a focus on kitchen operations and food safety standards
- Knowledge of the food industry trends, hospitality practices, and serving protocols
- Excellent communication skills and ability to lead by example
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Formal training or certification in culinary arts or hospitality management is preferred
- Experience with menu development, inventory control, and staff training is highly desirable

Pay: $40,432.40-$67,783.56 per year
