We’re looking for an experienced Cake Decorator & Baker to join our team at our Vancouver store. The ideal candidate is creative, detail-oriented, and passionate about producing high-quality cakes and baked goods. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience working in a bakery environment and be comfortable working in a fast-paced setting.
Responsibilities:
- Decorate custom cakes and specialty desserts
- Bake and prepare cakes, pastries, and other baked goods
- Maintain high standards of quality, consistency, and presentation
- Follow recipes and food safety procedures
- Keep kitchen and workstations clean and organized
Requirements:
- Minimum 2 years of bakery experience
- Valid FoodSafe Level 1 certification
- Strong cake decorating skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and creativity
- Reliable and punctual
- Flexible availability (including weekends)
- Familiarity with Filipino desserts is considered an asset
