Job Description
We are looking for a part-time Registered Technician to join our team for 16-30 hours per week, typically between Monday and Thursday.
As a Registered Pharmacy Technician you will be responsible for assisting the Pharmacists with daily operations of the Pharmacy. This includes but is not limited to:
- Processing and preparing prescriptions
- Performing final checks on prescriptions including pill packs
- Counselling patients on the use of medical devices
- Assisting patients in person and over the phone
The successful candidate will be a registrant with the College of Pharmacists of British Columbia, and will have:
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Good organizational skills and the ability to multi task
- Basic computer skills
- Problem solving skills
Compensation is negotiable based on experience level of the successful candidate.
If you are commuting from a nearby community, you may also be eligible for mileage reimbursement.
