As a Service Advisor, you are the face of our service department. You are responsible for managing the customer’s journey from check-in to delivery, ensuring every guest leaves with total confidence in their vehicle.
Consultative Approach: Establish rapport and trust by listening to customer concerns and asking probing questions to accurately document vehicle needs.
Technical Liaison: Constantly communicate with our Technicians to obtain updates on repairs and maintenance, translating technical jargon into clear explanations for the customer.
Estimates & Coordination: Provide accurate estimates on service and repairs, explain warranty coverage vs. retail costs, and manage the scheduling of jobs to ensure shop efficiency.
Quality Control: Road-test vehicles when necessary to verify concerns and ensure repairs have been completed to Volkswagen standards.
Revenue Growth: Recommend additional maintenance and repair services to customers when appropriate to ensure the safety and longevity of their vehicles.
Customer Champions: A decisive, customer-oriented person with a strong interest in exceeding expectations.
Conflict Resolution Skills: Capable of handling complex situations and dissatisfied customers with empathy and professionalism.
Organizational Pros: The ability to manage your time, work independently, and schedule Technicians under time pressures.
Team Players: A professional who works congenially with our technicians and parts department to ensure a seamless workflow.
Experience: Previous customer service experience is preferred. Automotive service writing experience is a significant asset.
Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Detail-Oriented: High attention to detail regarding documentation and administrative tasks.
Professionalism: A great personality and a professional appearance and demeanor.
