We are seeking a Evening Line Cook to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items with precision and efficiency, ensuring a high standard of food quality and safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare and cook menu items according to recipes and presentation standards
- Assist in food preparation, including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Ensure all food handling and safety procedures are strictly followed to maintain hygiene standards
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen station before, during, and after service
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of orders
- Monitor food quality and presentation throughout service
- Follow all health and safety regulations related to food safety and sanitation
- Support other kitchen staff as needed during busy service periods
Qualifications
- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or food service, preferably in a restaurant or food industry setting
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Strong understanding of meal preparation techniques and kitchen operations
- Excellent serving skills with the ability to work efficiently under pressure
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks such as lifting and moving supplies
- Previous restaurant experience is highly desirable
- A team-oriented attitude with good communication skills
- Flexibility to work evening shifts as required
