We are seeking a dedicated Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team at Joe's Family Pharmacy. This role is vital in ensuring accurate medication dispensing and excellent patient care, supporting our mission to improve community health.
Responsibilities
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Provide exceptional patient care and answer medication-related questions.
- Maintain precise medical records and ensure compliance with pharmacy regulations.
- Manage medication inventory and restock supplies as needed.
- Support the pharmacy team with administrative tasks and patient consultations.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and medical terminology standards.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Proven experience as a pharmacy technician, preferably in a hospital or retail setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and medication administration.
- Excellent patient care skills with a compassionate approach.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Certification or registration as a pharmacy technician in Canada.
- Familiarity with pharmacy software systems is a plus.
