Housekeeper Job Description:
The Housekeeper is a member of the Quality Control team, which ensures Ste. Anne’s facilities and guest suites are clean, sanitary and hygienic on a consistent basis. This is an absolutely essential role to play in ensuring Ste. Anne’s provides a relaxing atmosphere to guests, in accordance with Four-Diamond hotel standards. As Ste. Anne’s consists of the Main Inn and several offsites, the Housekeeper is on their feet, walking, and driving frequently. They will perform a wide variety of physical movements and activities to fulfill the duties of their role.
Responsibilities:
- Cleaning the common areas of the spa in the evenings.
- Dusting and wiping down surfaces.
- Vacuuming, sweeping and mopping floors.
- Removing and/or organizing garbage and recycling.
- Replacing and stocking supplies.
- Other cleaning duties, as needed.
Requirements:
- Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Able to frequently kneel, squat and twist.
- Able to lift and carry 30 lbs.
- Able to climb staircases, step-tools and ladders as required.
- Able to work weekends, evenings or holidays as required.
Qualifications:
- A valid G Driver's License.
- 1 year of cleaning experience is preferred.
