POSITION SUMMARY
Haida Tourism is a Haida-owned company, owned and operated by Haida Enterprise Corporation (HaiCo). HaiCo is focused on building Haida owned enterprises that reflect Haida cultural values, investing in the training and mentorship of Haida Citizens, creating careers and improving the lives of Haida Citizens and the economy of Haida Gwaii.
Reporting to the Manager, the Breakfast Cook will contribute to the culinary program at Ocean House. The Breakfast Cook will work with the kitchen team to ensure all dishes meet the highest standards for our guests and that health and safety standards are maintained and followed at all times. The hours of work will include mornings and weekends.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Cook and prepare items from the menu
Work cooperatively and professionally with front of house staff
Setup and maintain cook stations
Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
Handle and store food safely and properly
Follow Occupational Health & Safety, Food Safe and WHMIS best practices and CMS
Other related duties as required
