Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Exterior Building Cleaner to join our team. This role involves maintaining the cleanliness and appearance of building exteriors, ensuring a professional and inviting environment for clients and visitors. The ideal candidate will have experience with various cleaning techniques and tools, possess strong communication skills, and demonstrate excellent time management. This position offers an opportunity to work outdoors, contribute to facility upkeep, and develop skills in facilities maintenance and custodial services.
Pay structure
18-20% commission for all serviced jobs
Optional: Bi-weekly, weekly, or daily pay.
Transportation pay: 5-10$ per day.
Duties
- Required to drive your own vehicle to service locations.
- Clean building exteriors including windows, walls, and facades using appropriate tools and techniques
- Operate power tools and hand tools safely for cleaning and maintenance tasks
- Use heavy lifting equipment to move supplies or equipment as needed
- Perform routine facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs or touch-ups
- Apply commercial cleaning methods to ensure surfaces are spotless and well-maintained
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within scheduled hours
- Communicate with team members and supervisors to coordinate work activities and report issues
- Ensure safety procedures are followed during all cleaning operations
Requirements
- Prior experience using powerwashing tools and equipment is an asset but not mandatory.
- Proficiency with problem solving, and maintaining professional practices in both cleanliness and when addressing customers.
- Strong understanding of cleaning techniques and safety protocols dealing with chemicals.
- Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with clients or building occupants
- Effective communication skills for team coordination and reporting issues
- Ability to perform heavy lifting and work outdoors in various weather conditions
- Good time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, climb ladders, and perform manual cleaning duties for extended periods
- "Working at heights" certification is not a requirement but an asset.
- Owning a truck or van is considered an asset in this position (you may be requested to bring equipment to and from locations).

This is considered a full-time position weather dependant.
Pay: $150.00-$350.00 per day
