Job Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Server/Bartender to join our dynamic restaurant team. This role involves providing exceptional customer service, preparing and serving food and beverages, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in food service, strong multitasking skills, and a passion for hospitality. Prior experience with POS systems such as Micros POS is preferred. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills in the food industry while delivering memorable dining experiences. Must have experience in serving.
Responsibilities
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently using POS systems such as Micros POS
- Serve food and beverages promptly while maintaining high standards of presentation and quality
- Handle cash transactions, process payments, and give correct change with basic math skills
- Ensure food safety and proper food handling procedures are followed at all times
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest needs, answering questions, and creating a welcoming environment
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, bar area, and dining space in accordance with health regulations
- Assist in setting up and breaking down service stations before and after shifts
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy hours
- Uphold food safety standards and adhere to all food industry regulations
Qualifications
- Previous restaurant or food service experience preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, professional demeanor
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables or bar orders simultaneously
- Knowledge of food safety practices and proper food handling procedures
- Basic math skills for cashiering and cash handling responsibilities
- Experience in hospitality or the food industry is a plus but not required
- Must be 18 years or older and able to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed
