Snapshot of the Position
At Colemans, we delight in providing our guests with the highest quality product. We are seeking a skilled individual with a passion for decorating. The responsibilities of this position would involve the daily preparation and decoration of cakes and pastries.
What You’ll Do
- Preparing and decorating cakes and pastries.
- Merchandising and product displays.
- Keeping work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
- Adhere to food, health and safety standards at all times.
- Fulfill customer cake orders as requested (i.e. online/phone orders).
- Other related tasks as assigned by Store Management.
What We Are Looking For
- Strong customer service skills.
- Working knowledge of basic equipment including, but not limited to, mixers, blenders, food processors.
- Ability to lift up to 20 kg (around 45 lb) is a definite asset.
- Ability to work both independently and as a member of a team.
Hours of Work
32 hours per week; days, evenings and weekends as needed.
Rate of Pay
$16.35 - $17.69 per hour.
