Production Paint Stripping (PPS) is a leading provider of paint stripping and metal cleaning services, having serviced the automotive and aerospace industries of southern Ontario for 30 years. PPS operates paint stripping facilities in Ontario and the United States.
We are looking for an experienced part-time, afternoon shift Class A Truck Driver to join our team at the Brampton and Toronto, ON locations! The incumbent's primary objective will be to transport loads from the PPS site(s) to designated customers within expected deadlines.
Primary Duties
- Transporting freight within Ontario, Canada.
- Loading and unloading materials/parts.
- Verifying loads for accuracy.
- Transporting/delivering loads to customers, ensuring scheduled deadlines are met.
- Responsible for conducting a pre-vehicle checks prior to driving, noting any concerns.
- Abiding by road safety laws and regulations.
- Complying with all safe driving practices and PPS driver safety policies/processes.
- Completing and verifying paperwork for accuracy.
- Ensuring excellent customer service.
- All other duties as assigned.

Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent, is preferred.
- Hold a valid, commercial driver's license.
- 2+ years of experience as a CDL AZ Driver.
- Knowledge of, and ability to, comply with the rules and regulations set forth by the Ministry of Transportation.
- Strong communication skills and organizational skills.
- Able to work safely and efficiently.
- Organizations and attention to detail.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift heavy packages (up to 50 pounds) as needed.
- Ability to sit and drive for long periods of time.
- Ability to maintain alertness and fitness for duty.
