Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Early Childhood Teacher to join our team at our new location EverBright Academy. The ideal candidate will have a passion for educating young children and creating a nurturing learning environment. Candidate will be primarily performing cleaning and kitchen tasks throughout the day, and floating through the centre when necessary. Kitchen experience and Food Handling Certificate is a great asset.
Duties
- Cook meals and snack in the kitchen with assistance, following health and safety guidelines. -Keep kitchen organized and clean, including a deep clean every Friday.
Track allergies and meal restrictions through the centre, providing alternate meals.
- Provide a safe and supportive learning environment for children
- Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
- Utilize computer operation skills to enhance educational activities
- Incorporate bilingual or special education techniques when necessary
- Engage children in educational activities that promote growth and development
Skills
- Proficient in early childhood education principles and practices
- Strong time management skills to effectively plan and execute lessons
- Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and colleagues
- Ability to educate and inspire young learners
- Familiarity with computerized tools for educational purposes
- Level 1 and experience in childcare is a plus
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $15.00-$17.00 per hour
