Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Lead Hand to oversee Architectural Metals Projects. The ideal candidate will be a skilled, working supervisor who leads a small crew while performing hands-on tasks, bridging the gap between workers and site foremen. They are responsible for safety compliance, operating heavy machinery, directing daily tasks, and ensuring projects are completed on time and to quality standards.
Duties
- Direct and assist with daily tasks on construction sites.
- Assisting foremen with daily operations, scheduling and troubleshooting issues.
- Maintaining safe work environments, conducting equipment inspections and acting as a spotter.
- Implement effective communication strategies with supervisors to keep them informed of project status and any changes.
- Must be able to follow and enforce company policies and procedures.
- Strong skills in construction , blueprint reading, and quality control practices.
- Able to work longer hours when needed
- Able to work at heights on swing stage, AWP
Experience
- Must have 2 years minimum experience in commercial siding installation (or similiar)
Must have drivers license or the ability to get to work
