Job Description
The lathe Machinist will be responsible for ensuring parts are manufactured in accordance with engineering specifications and tolerances.
Duties and Responsibilities:
· Read and interpret blueprints and drawings;
- Identify and select proper inserts, jaws, tooling, etc.;
· Safely load and unload tools and raw materials onto machine;
· Knowledge of proper speeds and feeds;
· Verify dimensions of parts using precision measuring instruments;
· Operate hoisting and lifting devices to load and unload parts;
· Must be able to lift items up to 40lbs ;
· Perform daily and regular cleaning of machinery
· Other duties and responsibilities as required.
Experience:
· Minimum 5 years of Manual Lathe experience
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00-$35.00 per hour
Expected hours: 44 per week
