We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Flooring Installer specializing in LVP, LVT, glue-down vinyl, and laminate flooring to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience with modern flooring systems in residential and commercial settings, with a focus on quality installation, proper subfloor preparation, and clean finishing work.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret floor plans and layout specifications
- Prepare subfloors through cleaning, leveling, patching, and repairs
- Install LVP, LVT, laminate, and glue-down vinyl flooring systems
- Install underlayments, vapor barriers, and transition moldings
- Perform glue-down installations using proper adhesives and techniques
- Measure, cut, and fit materials accurately for a professional finish
- Install trims, transitions, baseboards, and stair nosing as required
- Operate flooring tools and equipment safely and effectively
- Maintain a clean and organized job site
- Follow all safety procedures and manufacturer specifications
Requirements
- Proven experience installing LVP, LVT, laminate, and vinyl flooring systems
- Strong understanding of subfloor preparation and leveling
- Ability to read and follow floor plans and installation instructions
- Experience with both floating (click) and glue-down systems
- Skilled with flooring tools (cutters, saws, rollers, trowels, etc.)
- Attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Herringbone experience is an asset
