Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled Paint Sprayer/Prepper to join our manufacturing team. This role is essential in preparing surfaces, applying paint, and ensuring high-quality finishes on various products. Duties
- Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and masking as needed
- Operate paint sprayers with precision to apply coatings evenly on different components
- Use hand tools, power tools
- Assist with the setup and breakdown of painting stations and related machinery
- Conduct quality checks to ensure finishes meet specifications
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, adhering to safety standards
- Support machining, assembly, or other manufacturing processes as required
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to optimize workflow and reduce waste
Requirements
- Previous experience in manufacturing or a related field preferred
- Mechanical knowledge with hands-on experience using hand tools
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations during prep and application processes
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing practices to improve efficiency
- Ability to work safely following safety protocols
- Strong attention to detail and quality standards
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
- Reliable and punctual
- Physically capable of lifting and working on your feet
