Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Long Haul <calgary,AB> Driver to operate commercial vehicles across regional and national routes CAN to USA and Back. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting freight over long distances, ensuring timely deliveries, and maintaining compliance with all safety regulations. Responsibilities
- Safely operate heavy-duty trucks and freight vehicles over long distances, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure proper functioning and safety standards are met
- Load and unload freight if help needed or necessary, ensuring secure transportation of goods
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, deliveries, and vehicle maintenance records in compliance with federal and state regulations
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding delivery schedules, route changes, or any issues encountered during transit
- Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when required to ensure vehicle readiness and minimize downtime.
Skills
- Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record
- Experience in freight transportation and long-distance driving
- Knowledge of automotive repair basics for troubleshooting vehicle issues on the road
- Ability to operate heavy equipment safely and efficiently
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail for maintaining logs and documentation
- Excellent communication skills for coordinating with dispatchers and clients

Pay: $70,000.00-$100,000.00 per year
