Montessori Academy of London invites a passionate and purpose-driven French educator to join our Elementary team for the 2026–2027 school year. Guided by our commitment to nurturing independence, curiosity, and global citizenship, this full-time, permanent role offers the opportunity to inspire a lifelong love of learning, language and culture within a collaborative, student-centred environment. The position begins on Monday, August 31, 2026, however, the successful candidate is welcome to access the classroom prior to the start date.
Qualifications and Skills
Applicants should have:
- An undergraduate degree in French or high level of French fluency.
- Experience teaching children – preferably Elementary level.
- Classroom management skills.
- Experience with curriculum development (plan and develop engaging lessons and activities that meet the needs of all students).
- Montessori Teaching Certification – preferable but not essential.
- Maturity, responsibility, a friendly demeanor, patience.
- A passion for working with children and encouraging their growth and independence.
- Five years of experience is preferred.
- A valid Police Vulnerable Sector Check (PVSC).
- Excellent communication and writing skills.
- Computer skills: experience with Google for Education; online report cards; etc.
- Legally entitled to work in Ontario.
