About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Rewinder Operator to join our Production Operations team. This role supports flexographic printing by operating Gonder flex rewinders to produce high-quality labels and packaging products safely, efficiently, and in line with production schedules. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined, quality-focused, and comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up, operate, and monitor Gonder flex rewinders in accordance with job instructions
- Operate production equipment safely and efficiently to meet quality and production standards
- Inspect and handle materials throughout production to ensure accuracy and consistency
- Use hand tools, power tools, and machinery as required
- Maintain accurate production and quality records
- Follow lean manufacturing principles to support efficiency, waste reduction, and continuous improvement
- Comply with all safety policies and perform other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and interpret job instructions and technical drawings
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and industrial equipment
- Ability to communicate effectively in English (spoken and written)
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles is an asset
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment is an asset
Work Environment
- Manufacturing setting with standing, lifting, bending and repetitive tasks
- PPE required as applicable (Hair Nets, Beard Nets and Ear Plugs are provided and required, Safety Shoes: subsidized after passing probation)

- Monday to Friday 6:00AM - 2:30PM
