We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Ink Specialist to join our team. This role involves managing product colouring, ink display, ensuring ink matches the client specifications. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, ink expertise, and a solid understanding of ink packaging machinery.
Responsibilities:
- Set-up ink to match specifications; match, formulate, and measure for designated orders, prioritizing as needed
- Perform quality tests and checks
- Troubleshoot ink issues
- Maintain inventory to meet or exceed goals/targets
- Update and maintain records, reports, samples, recipes/blends
- Work closely with graphics department, operations, inventory, leadership, product development
- Maintain storage and work area to meet protocols Effectively communicate with others
Qualifications:
- 2-4 years experience in a related field required; color matching
- Ability to detect color required
- Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Power Point), Visio, Teams and Outlook
- Exceptional time management and organization skills
- Proactive; exercises sound judgment and decision making; able to identify problems and needs and develop solutions and/or options.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously establishing priorities to meet deadlines
- Excellent communications skills (both written/verbal)
Pay: $22.26 per hour
