ROLE: QA Supervisor REPORTS TO: QA Manager LOCATION: Delta BC

As our QA Supervisor, you will be the gatekeeper of information responsible for our document management system to ensure compliance with all regulatory, and internal and external audit requirements. You will have opportunities to develop your leadership and supervisory skills as you lead monthly Quality and Safety meetings while also will stepping in for the QA Manager when absent from the facility. Provide daily leadership and direction to the QA team

You have a working knowledge of GFSI Schemes, HACCP, Organic, Kosher
You have exceptional organizational and time-management skills.
You have strong Microsoft 365 and other computer application skill
You have a Degree in Food Science, Nutrition, Chemistry or other relevant discipline
You have 3 or more years working in a similar role
You have experience working in a food manufacturing facility
You have HACCP certification
You have knowledge of continuous improvement tools (Six Sigma, Kanban)
You have worked in a unionized workplace
Lead monthly Quality and Safety meetings
Oversee the document management process to ensure compliance with audit requirements
Assume QA Manager’s responsibilities when absent from facility
Generate SOP’s, forms, and documents as required for new products and processes
Participate in the implementation of new products
Prepare and execute audit schedule including all necessary actions for successful completion
